Fear Expanded by Ryan Everson
At first I didn’t even notice the giant mirrored letters sitting in the middle of the open field, however up close you can see the word FEAR created out of mdf and mirrors hiding in the distance. Fear is something buried inside all of us and I thought it was only appropriate to share. A section of the artist’s statement is below.“My most recent work comes from abstract emotional states stirred up from specific self reflective moments. These moments arise as I become more aware of myself in the present and my inability to control the future”

Shadow
reginasworld:

Bohyun Yoon’s installation work “Unity” (2009), “Structure of Shadow” (2007), and “Shadow” (2004) casts light on miniature wax body parts which physically dangle aimlessly; however, when illuminated by a light source, these fragmentations create shadows or illusions which illustrate figurative wholeness.
